Research

Lab Test Results
To back up his theory, Dr. Joe utilized an outside independent lab in Princeton, NJ to test hair with the conditioning shampoos compared to his newly developed Color Wow formula. They used a sophisticated infrared device that scans the hair and scalp for traces of residue. They also tested the skin to see whether or not they would affect the skin as well.
The tests validated Dr. Joe's theory. There were lots of residue detected in the other shampoos. They also stuck to the skin, clogging the pores. My Opinion?
Whenever a manufacturer makes steep claims such as these, I usually take it all in with a grain of salt. Sometimes they are true to their claims, and sometimes they fall flat. I kept an open mind on this one though. I had to try it for myself before I would believe what they are preaching. After using the shampoo for the last several days, I can honestly say that it is one of the very best shampoos I have ever used.
Even though I'm a guy that doesn't get hair color, it cleaned my hair really well. It is a highly concentrated clear formula. A little goes a long way and produces lots of lather. The shampoo, and most of their other products for that matter, have a very light, clean, fresh fragrance that I think most people will like. As far as leaving any residue behind, I really have no way of testing that part. We will just have to trust Dr. Joe on that one. As a guy with thinning hair, it will be interesting to see if there is any improvement in the hair loss area long term.
